Booking Procedures

Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to secure an appointment. The deposit must be paid within 24 hours of making the booking. Appointments will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full 50% deposit within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your appointment.

Payment
Payment is accepted in cash or card. Payment is due in full at the time of the appointment.

Pricing
We charge a base rate based on the size of the tattoo. More intricate designs, such as those with fine lines, detailed shading, or text will have an additional charge. The number of colors used in the tattoo can also affect the price.

Cancellation
Any cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will result in a cancellation fee equal to the deposit.

Rescheduling
Appointments can be rescheduled up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. A rescheduling fee of 15% will apply. In the case of extreme emergencies, the studio will consider waiving the cancellation or rescheduling fee with proof of reason.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals
Clients who fail to show up without providing at least 24 hours notice will be charged a no-show fee equal to the full deposit. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule. A rescheduling fee of 15% may apply.

A free consultation is offered and clients are welcome to book a studio visit to discuss tattoo ideas before booking an appointment.

A consultation is always required for large-scale tattoos. We provide an initial estimate, discuss the design and complexity, then provide a more accurate estimate. The final price is determined once the design is finalised and the artist has assessed the total time and effort required. The final design and price are presented for client approval before work starts.

The studio provides detailed aftercare instructions to all clients. Clients are responsible for properly caring for their tattoos according to those instructions.

All tattoos completed by our studio are eligible for a free touch-up if needed. Touch-ups must be requested within three months of the initial tattoo. Normal fading is not considered a reason for a touch-up. Significant design changes may incur additional charges.

IGOTINK uses PayFast to process online payments. The service, selected session, price, payment amount, and the applicable cancellation and refund policy are presented during the checkout sequence.

By submitting an online payment, you affirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Deposit & Payment Policy. Online payments are processed in ZAR. An approved refund is issued to the original payment method and will not exceed the original payment amount.
